WiLAN's methodology seeks to avoid litigation, preferring to derive fair, reasonable, and commercially-viable royalties commensurate with the underlying value of the patented technology. However, if needed, WiLAN will pursue enforcement through litigation in various jurisdictions around the world in order to prevent unlicensed use of its intellectual property.
